Tathya ("the App") is an AI-powered fact-checking application built by Ayush Kushwaha. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Data you provide

• Video URLs you submit for fact-checking

Data we generate automatically

• Device ID — a randomly generated anonymous identifier stored on your device, used to track daily usage limits
• Usage logs — timestamps and URLs of fact-checks you perform, linked to your device ID and (if signed in) your account
• Google account info (if you sign in) — your email address and display name, retrieved via Google Sign-In

Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information
• We do not access your camera, microphone, or local files
• We do not track your location

Video URLs you submit are sent to these services solely to provide the fact-checking functionality.

Data Retention

• Cached fact-checks are stored in our database indefinitely to serve faster repeat results
• Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days
• Google account info is retained until you sign out of the App
• You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact below)

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
